What Grade Your Essay is

Grade Your Essay (“the service”) is an AI tool that scores an essay against a rubric, quotes your own sentences and suggests fixes. It is operated by Hueflo. Scores are estimates. They are not official scores from the College Board, ETS, IELTS, ACT, the Common Application or any school, and they do not predict an admissions or exam result.

Who can use it

You must be 13 or older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the service with a parent or guardian's permission. You sign in with a Google account.

Your essays

You keep ownership of everything you paste or upload. You give us permission to process it only to grade it, show it in your history and run the service. We do not use your essays to train models. See the privacy policy.

Only paste your own work or work you have permission to submit.

Acceptable use

Use the service to get feedback on your own writing. Do not:

• ask it to write an essay or assignment for you, or try to get around that limit;
• submit work to a school or exam as written by you if it was not;
• upload illegal content, malware or other people's private data;
• probe, overload or scrape the service, share your account, or resell the output as a service.

We may refuse or limit requests and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Free grades, packs and Pro

New accounts get 2 free essay grades with scores only. Paid options are an Essay pack (25 full grades, one-time), a Deep review (1 deep review plus 5 full grades, one-time) and Pro (monthly). Current prices and contents are on the pricing page. Packs do not expire. The Pro monthly allowance does not roll over.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Creem, which is the merchant of record. Creem's terms apply to the payment itself. Prices are in USD and include taxes where applicable.

• Failed grades are refunded to your balance automatically.
• A one-time purchase with no grades used can be refunded on request within 14 days.
• Used grades are not refundable, except where the law or Creem's policy requires it.
• Pro: cancel anytime from the account menu (Creem customer portal). You keep Pro until the end of the paid month. No partial-month refunds, except where the law requires them.
• Charged by mistake? Email support@hueflo.com and we will fix it.

Accuracy and no guarantees

AI grading can be wrong. The service is provided “as is”, without a promise that scores are correct, consistent with your teacher's or an examiner's, or that the service will always be available. Use the feedback as a second opinion and make your own decisions.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Hueflo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a grade, a rejection or a test result. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.

Changes and ending

We may change the service, prices or these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date above and, for paid users, tell you before it takes effect. You can stop using the service and delete your history at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
